3DS Circle Pad Pro To Launch Alongside Resident Evil: Revelations

Nintendo has today announced that the Circle Pad Pro accessory, which adds an extra analog stick to 3DS, which launch alongside Resident Evil: Revelations on 27th January 2012.

Capcom’s latest addition to the popular survival horror series will be available in Europe as a stand alone game and as a special limited edition bundle including the Circle Pad Pro accessory. Before you guys start worrying, Resident Evil: Revelations will be playable without the accessory too.

Set between Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5, Resident Evil: Revelations sees Jill Valentine team up with BSAA partner Parker Luciani as they search for Chris Redfield, whose last known GPS data positions him as being onboard a supposedly abandoned cruise ship. Sounds like a typical Resident Evil scenario to us, and Capcom seem to agree, as they state the game will be “packed with terrifying moments that deliver a constant fear of the unknown through an intense canon storyline which is full of depth”.

As well as the standard Campaign Mode, Resident Evil: Revelations will feature a new mode called Raid. Offering a different kind of Resident Evil gameplay experience Raid Mode will be playable solo or cooperatively as Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield. The mode will include a variety of missions where you earn points by defeating enemies, allowing you to upgrade weapons as well as level up your character.
