Tony Hawk’s games have always been a favourite of mine, actually , I should rephrase that, Tony Hawk’s games WHERE a favourite of mine, the series took a rapid decline with RIDE, but I am praying that SHRED can deliver and restore some dignity to the series I hold so dear to my heart.
Skateboarder extraordinaire Tony Hawk recently ‘announced’ via his Twitter account that the next game in the long-running series of Tony Hawk games would feature the title ‘Tony Hawk: SHRED,’ tweeting:
“Tony Hawk: Shred. There, I said it. Actually, I named it. Somewhere a PR team is reeling”
A representative from Activision has confirmed the title:
“We can confirm we’ve given a name to the next Tony Hawk game – Tony Hawk: SHRED,” the representative said, “and more details will be revealed in the coming months.”
‘In the coming months’ probably means E3 in June, where developer Robomodo and Tony Hawk will hopefully reveal a game that shows they’ve learned from previous experiences with their touted skateboard peripheral.
