Destiny 2 – Xur Inventory and Location Week 12

 Back to business.

Xur has arrived! This week you’ll find him on the EDZ, and he’s carrying the Sweet Business (Auto Rifle), Lucky Raspberry (Hunter Chest), Synthoceps (Titan Arms),  Skull of Dire Ahamkara (Warlock Helm).

We’ve talked plenty about the Sweet Business auto rifle over the last few weeks. That fast fire rate and high caliber rounds can really demolish anything in front of it, providing you rev it up pre-engagement, so it’s definitely worth the shards. The Luck Raspberry has grown on me in the last few weeks. It doesn’t seem that exciting on paper, but trust me, get out there and use this exotic for a while and you’ll see its potential. The perks means your arcstrider arc bolt will chain further; ok, pretty average. The second perk though (oh boy, oh boy), means when you do damage with it you have chance to get your grenade back instantly – this has a surprisingly high chance of happening. Sometimes you can get 2-3 grenades in a row, paired with the bottom skill tree on arcstrider that recharges it up quicker when you’re low health and you’ve just found a way to clear groups of mobs for fun. Skull of Dire Ahamkara, whilst being probably the less desirable on this list, also works quite effectively. It’ll give you more protection during your Nova Bomb, plus the more enemies you kill, the more super energy you will gain back. Killing about 5-6 enemies with it will return nearly half, which is actually quite good. Not a bad week at all, Xur.

LOOT OF THE WEEK – Synthoceps

Sweet Business is indeed a very nice exotic that stacks well with other gear, but, we’ve had this in recently and we should really talk about the Synthoceps as this week’s LOTW. These to do the ultra simple job of extending your melee range on your Titan, but they do it really, really well. There’s clear application in PvE, but they absolutely shine in PvP. Having that extra range can really get you out of some tricky engagements, as well as boosting that run n’ gun strat if you’re carrying a shotgun or any other close range weapon. There’s plenty of useful Titan exotics, but this is one of the best when you’re playing against other players in crucible.
