Like the Transformers Prime animated shows on TV? Love it? Well, you’ll be happy to learn that Activision has today announced a game based on the hit series, and it’s coming to all current Nintendo platforms.
Transformers Prime: The Game will let you play as your favourite Autobot characters as they embark on an action-packed adventure to save the earth from the evil Megatron and his new secret weapon. The game will allow you into the virtual metal armour of Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Arcee, Autobot Ratchet, Bulkhead and more. You’ll explore vistas all around the world whilst you partaking in brawler-style combat and driving sequences.
David Oxford, Executive Vice President at Activision Publishing stated:
“Hasbro Studios has done a phenomenal job with the Transformers Prime television show. We are collaborating closely with the series creators to capture all the adventure, humour and friendships from the show to create an authentic action experience for Transformer fans of all ages to enjoy.”

Transformers Prime: The Game will hit stores later this year and is being developed exclusively for Nintendo’s Wii system and the Nintendo 3DS by Now Production (NowPro), and for the Nintendo DS by Altron Corporation.
