Remedy have amazingly managed to recoup all development and marketing costs of Alan Wake on the PC in just 48 hours of it being on sale.
That is according to executive vice president Aki Järvilehto who wrote the following on the official forums:
“We recouped our development and marketing expenses during the first 48 hours. And yes, we’re certainly very excited about PC.”
Alan Wake was first brought out for the Xbox 360 in 2010 but was re-announced for PC in December 2011 and came out on February 16th. It also comes with DLC add-ons The Signal and The Writer.
Quite an amazing achievement there, let us know your thoughts and if you have purchased Alan Wake on the PC via the comment section below.
