It seems that an Xbox One release for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is looking doubtful.
That is according to the latest statement by Activision given to the folks at MCV, which stated the following:
We want to inform you that we are revising our release plans for ASM2 on Xbox One, When and whether ASM2 is released on Xbox One is TBD
UPDATE:
In a further statement to Eurogamer, Activision have stated that they will be working with Microsoft in order to try and bring the Xbox One version. The statement is as follows:
We are working with Microsoft in an effort to release The Amazing Spider-Man 2 video game on Xbox One, Currently, the game will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and the PC on 2nd May, 2014 as previously announced.
