Assassin's Creed III Wii U Controller Functionality Details Emerge

by

MyNintendoNews has today posted some details on how Assassin’s Creed III will use the Wii U controller.

The report suggests the controller will display the map and Animus database entries, serving as an Assassin’s Creed encyclopedia. MyNintendoNews also suggest that the controller’s touch screen will be used to quickly select weapons during combat in the game, allowing Connor to switch between single and dual wield weapons.

Apparently, the Wii U tablet-like controller will also function as an alternate view for Eagle Vision, giving you the ability to control the camera via the built-in accelerometer.

What do you think of these functions for the Wii U controller in Assassin’s Creed III? Let us know your thoughts via the comments section below.
