UPDATE – It looks like the earlier dates were a bit off, as Warner Bros has now confirmed that the Game of the Year Edition will be released in the UK on September 7th.
In regards to the Harley Quinn’s Revenge DLC, it will be available internationally via Xbox LIVE and the PlayStation Network on May 30th. The official description of the DLC is listed below:
The Harley Quinn’s Revenge mission sends players back into Arkham City to face their final challenge as they interchange between playing as both Batman and Robin. Gamers must utilise each of the characters’ unique combat and investigative skills to uncover Harley’s vengeful plan and shut the gates on the urban mega-prison forever. In addition to experiencing a new storyline, fans can explore new environments and face-off against Harley’s all new gang of thugs.
Nice, so you’ll get to play as Batman and Robin! We can’t wait to see how that plays out, given their contrasting styles of combat and different skills.
ORIGINAL POST – Warner Bros and Rocksteady Studios have today confirmed the existence of the previously rumoured and teased Harley Quinn’s Revenge DLC for Batman: Arkham City.
Described as the “final chapter” of Arkham City’s story, the confirmation comes courtesy of a trailer for the Game of the Year Edition, which will include the Catwoman, Nightwing, and Robin DLC. The bundle will also feature an Arkham City skin pack, Challenge pack and Batman: Year One Movie download code.
The Game of the Year Edition will be released in North America on May 29th, with the European launch date expected to be June 1st.
However, if you can’t wait for the Harley Quinn’s Revenge DLC, you’ll be happy to know that you’ll be able to downloaded it next week. According to Rocksteady’s community manager, Sarah Wellock, the DLC will hit Xbox LIVE on April 30th for 800 Microsoft Points, whereas PlayStation users will be able to pick it up on April 19th for $9.99 (UK price yet to be announced).
