EA and DICE have today released a brand new trailer for the upcoming Battlefield 3 DLC pack, Back to Karkand.
The new DLC pack coming this December features four classic maps from the Battlefield series, including Strike at Karkand, Wake Island, Gulf of Oman and Sharqi Peninsula. The much loved maps have all been remastered, according to DICE, with the fantastic new Frostbite 2 engine offering all the visual goodness and blown out scenery you’ve come to expect of their ever popular franchise.
Also included in the expansion pack will be new vehicles, dog tags, trophies, the return of the classic conquest assault and a new persistence system where players can complete assignments to earn rewards.
We’ve been anxious here at NGB to get our hands on Back to Karkand since Battlefield 3’s release, as I’m sure many of you have, so take a look at the intense, action packed trailer and then feel free to unload your excitement onto the comments section below.
