Battlefield Royalefield
The Battlefield Gamescom trailer has just dropped showing a bunch more gameplay and a very quick glimpse of its Battle Royale mode.
The trailer jumps between the various environments you’ll get to explore when the game releases in October and holy shit, it looks incredible. The visuals in the game are quite simply stunning and that immersive gameplay that Battlefield is renowned for is back and then some. Throughout the trailer, you can see a mix of boots on the ground, vehicular and aerial combat and it looks like you’ll be knee deep in the action no matter where you’re situated in the Battlefield.
There’s also a cheeky little tease of the new Battle Royale mode at the end of the trailer. Very little can be seen but we do know that vehicles will be making an appearance, as you’d expect, and the ’zone’ is mapped out by a massive wall of fire. The fire wall looks incredibly intimidating and should you wind up getting caught in there I wouldn’t fancy your chances.
