Good news, Bayonetta fans! SEGA and Platinum Games have today announced that if you pre-order Anarchy Reigns in Japan, you will be able to play as the sexy witch in the brawler’s online multiplayer modes.
No need to worry though, Western gamers, as SEGA has assured us you’ll also be able to get access to Bayonetta in Anarchy Reigns. They haven’t revealed how you’ll be able to do this, but as soon as we get more information we’ll let you know.
In addition to revealing Bayonetta as a playable character, SEGA also announced that the game will feature 11 different online modes and, depending on the mode, battles will support up to 16 players at once. We don’t know about you, but that sounds ever so slightly crazy to us. As always, you can trust the folks over Platinum Games to provide an over-the-top title.

Anarchy Reigns will be available on July 3rd for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in the USA and on July 6th in the European territories.
