BioShock 2 Coming To Mac OS X In January


2k Marin’s 2010 FPS, BioShock 2 is to be released on the Mac this coming January.

The title which was released on PC, Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360 all the way back in February of 2010 is finally coming to the Mac with the price set at £24.95/$34.95/€29.95 respectively for the boxed version of the game. The title will also be released as a download on various digital sites including the Apple App Store. The Mac version of the game will feature a new multiplayer mode exclusive to the Mac version called ‘The Fall of Rapture,’ which is set prior to the events of the original BioShock. This multiplayer mode focuses on the civil war that led to the downfall of Rapture and players will be playing the role of the mutated test subjects.

The specs needed for the game are posted below –

The minimum system requirements needed for the game are a 2.0 GHz Intel Mac with at least 4GB RAM, Mac OS X 10.6.8 or later, and also, 256MB of graphics memory. Various cards require 4GB of system RAM including the NVIDIA 320M and Intel HD 3000.

No exact date in January has been set for the release of the game as of yet.
