It’s Friday, Friday gotta get a deal on Friday
No, it’s not Rebecca Black’s Friday, in fact, it’s not even Black Friday yet but that hasn’t stopped retailers from showering us with deals. But we aren’t interested in picking up a kettle with a fiver off. No. We’re here for the good stuff – gaming deals!
PlayStation Black Friday Deals
From today, a bunch of PlayStation deals are live including discounts on PlayStation consoles! From the 23rd of November, the PlayStation Store Black Friday sale will begin with up to 60% off selected games. PlayStation Plus members will get early access to the Black Friday sale from the 21st of November. The deals will last until midnight, Monday 27th November.
- PS4 Pro FIFA 18 bundle, including Call of Duty: WWII will be dropping to £299.99* at certain retailers.
- PS4 Pro (Jet Black or Glacier White) with Gran Turismo and Call of Duty: WWII will also be available for £299.99*
- PlayStation VR Starter Pack with Gran Turismo Sport or Skyrim
- PlayStation Plus 12-month subs will be dropping to £37.49* at participating retailers. It’s the perfect time to renew since the price has increased across the board outside of this sale. PlayStation Plus will also be dropping to £37.49 on the store itself from 23rd November.
So far GAME has a variety of PlayStation 4 Pro bundles available at the above price with combinations including Gran Turismo, Destiny 2 & Call of Duty: WWII. Smyths Toy Store has still got the PSVR Starter bundle in stock, as do GAME but I’ve seen online that some are receiving emails about GAME not being able to allocate stock so it might be worth contacting them beforehand.
Xbox Black Friday Deals
The Black Friday Xbox Game Store sale is open now for Xbox Live Gold members and you can snag a month’s subscription to Gold for just £1 this month. It’s well worth doing this if you plan on picking up some deals as Xbox Live Gold members receive an additional discount so you’ll more than likely make your money back. The sale will open to everyone tomorrow. There are also some decent hardware deals floating around but don’t expect any discount on the latest Xbox One X.
- Xbox One S & Minecraft for £199 at participating retailers
- Xbox One S & Assassin’s Creed Origins for £199 at participating retailers
- Xbox One S & Forza Horizon 3 for £199 at participating retailers
Currys have an offer for the Xbox One S + Forza Horizon 3 (and Hotwheels DLC), Star Wars Battlefront II, DOOM and Fallout 4 for £199.99 with £10 extra snagging you Forza 7 too. The Xbox Game Store Black Friday sale has deductions of up to 65% on games including 30% off Assassin’s Creed: Origins, 50% off Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, 33% off South Park: The Fractured But Whole and a bunch of other discounts on older titles (around 380 discounts in total)
Nintendo Black Friday Deals
There hasn’t been much in the way of Black Friday announcements from Nintendo, and a blank placeholder page in their store, that doesn’t mean to say you can’t still snag yourselves a bargain. Retailers such as GAME selling a Nintendo Switch bundled with two LEGO Worlds and Rayman Legends for £299.99. Argos also have a bundle of Mario Odyssey and Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle which, when bought together, will save you £21.
*RRP but prices may vary.
