Nintendo have brought forward the release date of their upcoming title, Boom Street.
The Wii game which is kind of a Mario/Dragon Quest Monopoly hybrid was set to be released on the 6th January 2012 but has now been brought forward to the 28th December in the UK.
The aim is to get richer faster than your opponents through obtaining properties and property investment. There is an in-game stock market that lets you purchase shares and earn dividends.
Each board is themed on different Mario and Dragon Quest locations. These include Starship Mario from Super Mario Galaxy and Alltrades Abbey from Dragon Quest. You are able to play as your own Mii or pick from 20 different Mario and Dragon Quest characters. These include Mario, Luigi, Bowser, Yoshi, Slime, Platypunk and Stella. You can play up to 4 players locally on the same Wii Remote and also play online via the Wi-Fi Connection.
