It seems like the massive Playstation 3 outage yesterday may be coming to an end. On various forums, posters are reporting that their Playstation 3 models are beginning to function properly again.
Yesterday, older Playstation 3 models prior to the slim unit that launched last fall were unable to launch games or connect to the Playstation Network. Many suspect that the bug may be related to the date. It seems that Sony has now fixed the problem.
For those who are still having problems:
1. Disable and re-enable internet connection, test it and set the clock.
2. Connect to PSN
3. If any trophies don’t show up, start the game, exit and resync the trophies. For some games, you might have to play for a minute or so and then exit.
