Bungie who currently develop all their titles for the 360, have recently stated that they will not confirm or deny whether or not that there next title which is currently in development, will be exclusive for the 360 or if it will appear for the PS3 as well.
The article published by VG247.com has quotes from Bungie’s community head Brian Jarrard in which he said that the future was currently “undefined”. Jarrard said –
“I think our whole future’s kind of undefined right now and it’s definitely not something we’re going to be comfortable getting into too much detail about”.
“We’ve had another team internally (other than those making Halo: Reach) for quite a while now – they’ve been working on the genesis of what will become our next big thing”.
“It’s a little premature to get into specifics, but you know I think we have a really good mix of old blood and new blood in the studio,”
Of course, it doesn’t state anywhere in the article that Bungie will develop titles for the PS3 as well as the 360 but it doesn’t exactly deny it either and his take on words are very interesting. It will be a story to keep an eye on as more about this will surely come out very soon and I’m sure if something was going to happen we will hear about it at this year’s E3 at the latest.
If this development did end up happening then it’s a major coup for Playstation 3 owners that’s for sure.
