It’s been almost a month since Adam’s ‘So Long…’ post, in which he mentioned that myself and Nico along with the legend that is Alan would be looking after WENB from that point on. We’ve made a post or two in the forums, but now that we finally have the power to post on the site, we thought it was only right that we introduced ourselves and cleared up a few things.
Most of the WENB regulars will probably know me already, I’ve written quite a bit about PES over the last few years and been vocal about it on Twitter, even when I’m not at events! You’ll also probably know that I’m heading up Next-Gen Gaming Blog (NGB) here at Kitana Media Network, but rest assured I will be paying WENB just as much attention when it comes to content and interaction with you lovely people.
I’ll mainly be looking after the front page, concentrating on producing fantastic content that you guys have been accustomed to over the past few years. This, of course, includes, news, previews, reviews, features and podcasts. In addition to that, we’ll be introducing some community specific content too. We’ll reveal more about that soon, but rest assured it will be PES/football related.
All of the above will be backed up by our amazing relationship with Konami, which remains as strong as ever. In the past, not only have we brought you exclusive news, we’ve also given you the opportunity to provide feedback that goes directly to Konami themselves. You’ll be happy to learn that neither of these aspects will be affected by myself and Nico being introduced into the WENB team. In fact, as far as we’re concerned, it’s business as usual.
Enough about me though, let’s get you introduced to Nico. Again, some of you might already know him thanks to Twitter, but for those of you who don’t he’s written a little bit about himself below. Nico will be your main point of contact on the forums, but that’s not to say I won’t be active there at all. I’ll make the occasional appearance there and have a good old discussion with you guys. Anyway, back to Nico…
With Adam taking a step back I’ve seen a lot of “it’s an end of an era” talk. Let me put that talk to rest. Myself, Asim and Alan will continue to bring you the same great content that WENB has churned over the last few years. The passion for the PES brand is strong in this team and we will reflect that in the content we bring to you, our loyal fans.
Personally, I’m a massive PES fanatic. I am honoured and privileged to be trusted with the position bestowed upon me by Adam. Having been a part of the Kitana family writing for Next-Gen Gaming Blog, transitioning to WENB has been simple and I hope to repay the faith shown in me.
I am also madly in love with football, it’s a sport that is very precious to me. I will do my best to make sure your voices are heard. You guys are the single most important factor in how well PES does, so our aim is to have you as involved as possible. If you give any relevant feedback whatsoever, we’ll be there reading it and making sure it’s passed onto the right people.
Couldn’t have said it better myself. If you take away one thing from this post, it’s that WENB is open for business as usual and nothing will change when it comes to content. Also, we’d like to reiterate, even though has moved up here at the Kitana Media Network, Adam will still be making posts and be active on Twitter. He’s still the PES Messiah, we’re just continuing his work.
