Counter-Strike: Global Offensive PC Beta Starting November 30th

by

It has been announced by the guys over at Valve that the closed beta testing for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on the PC will start on November 30th.

csgo_dev from Valve tweeted the news earlier. He stated the following on Twitter;

The beta will be active for all current key holders starting Wed November 30th.#CSGO

Then came a follow-up Tweet after someone asked when other players would be able to join the beta to which came this response;

It is important to us to get current players in the beta. That will happen. No eta on when yet. #CSGO

The game, which is an online based first-person shooter, sees players take on objectives in multiplayer with the option to choose either a Terrorist or Counter-Terrorist faction and then compete in various different online game modes including demolition which sees players on a Terrorist team are given an explosive to plant at a designated location. The Counter-Terrorists must defend the location until time runs out, and if the bomb is planted they must defuse it. Other modes include Hostage Rescue and the latest addition to the series, Arsenal.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is released on Playstation 3, Xbox 360, PC and Mac OS X in early 2012.

I'm a huge fan of the PES, MGS and Uncharted series', and anything else in between. If you love a good gaming discussion or want to talk about anything else, then feel free to get in touch.
