Real Escape Game, Defenders of the Triforce

What’re arguably the best games ever made? Zelda games. But what’s better than video games? RL Video Games! Combine the two and what have you got? Basically what I’m saying, in the most convoluted way possible, is there’s an incredible Zelda escape room experience hitting London next month. Real Escape Game, Defenders of the Triforce is coming to London, July 14th – 16th following a sell-outsell out tour in the US last year.

The Zelda-themed escape room experience sets teams of 6 to work at solving puzzles and mysteries in order to escape the room. Hence the name. Packed with Zelda characters and items the event looks to be the perfect escape for Zelda and gaming fans alike. Following completion of the experience, there’s also an opportunity to get some cheeky photos. Not only that but if you purchase tickets now you’ll also get a cool looking poster! Check out the video below to get a taste of what’s involved and for more information, and to purchase tickets, head over to the SCRAP Zelda website.

SNES mini in high demand

Boom! The SNES mini has been announced, in news that will have certainly surprised no one. The cute little box comes bundled with 21 games loaded on board, including a never before released Star Fox game. StarfFox 2 never saw the light of day but you’ll be able to play it in its entirety when the box releases in September this year. Joining Star Fox 2 are the likes of F-Zero, Donkey King Country & Super Mario World. The handy little box connects to your TV via HDMI and it comes bundled with two wired SNES controllers.

Pre-orders are open now at various retailers although it’s already looking like the Amazon ones have been claimed. The box is/was priced at £79.99 on Amazon, or £77.99 for Prime members. £79.99 on GAME and £69.99 on Smyths toy store. With the huge demand for NES mini looking to be mirrored on the SNES mini, you can probably expect Nintendo to cease production of the console shortly…
