DICE have unveiled the step up to the Battlelog service which will be used for their upcoming title, Battlefield 4.
Players will now be able to configure loadouts and also find the servers they want to play on using a mobile device. Players will also be able to use their tablet as a second screen in order to display the map and also set points of attack.
Speaking about Battlelog, Assistant producer Jesper Nielsen stated:
[With] Battlelog for Battlefield 4, what we’ve done is really try to expand the service to be super integral to the game experience itself, more than something just a PC gamer can enjoy.
Producer Oskar Gabrielson added:
They have their smartphones, their tablets, their computers next to them while they’re playing, and we want to create a Battlefield that can incorporate all of these devices in the experience. With Battlelog you’ll get a deeper, richer Battlefield 4 experience,
