Bethesda have today officially confirmed Doom 4, however it seems it will be a reboot of the series, after being referred to as simply Doom.
Not much has been revealed about the upcoming Doom title however Bethesda did reveal that those who pre-order Wolfenstein: The New Order will be able to take part in the beta.
The new Wolfenstein title won’t be available until May so those hoping to get a play on the new Doom title will have to wait a while yet.
Players will have a key-code in the box, where they can redeem to take part in the Doom beta. Speaking about the beta, Bethesda stated:
Timing and availability of future beta programs for Doom is to be determined. The only current way to ensure access is through pre-ordering Wolfenstein: The New Order. We will be providing more information on additional beta tests, if any, at a later time.
