
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) have today announced that they have struck a deal with UK-based studio Double Eleven which will see the company developing games exclusively for SCEE and Sony platforms.
Double Eleven were formed by former Rockstar Leeds lead-engineers in 2010, and they are a studio that specialises in developing handheld and mobile video games. Their offices are located in Middlesbrough, where they are currently working on LittleBigPlanet for PlayStation VITA.
Under the terms of the deal, Double Eleven will continue to work on LittleBigPlanet, but will also begin development on new titles for Sony platforms.
