Capcom has today announced the release for their open world action title, Dragon’s Dogma. The game will hit the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in North America on May 22nd and in Europe on May 25th.
That’s not all though, as Capcom is also revealed that if you purchase a brand new copy of Dragon’s Dogma, you will get access to a Resident Evil 6 playable demo way before the game is officially released on November 20th. Brand new copies of the game will contain a redeemable token that will allow you to download the demo.
If you purchase the Xbox 360 version of the Dragon’s Dogma, you will be able to redeem the token and download the demo via Xbox LIVE Marketplace 60 days earlier than any other platform from July 3rd.
PlayStation 3 owners of Dragon’s Dogma will have to wait slightly longer to get access to the demo, as it will be available via the PlayStation Store on September 4th in North America and Japan, and then on September 5th in Europe.
Interesting move by Capcom, one that is sure to sell a few extra copies of Dragon’s Dogma. It certainly worked for Crackdown, when it came bundled with Halo 3 multiplayer beta access. Although, to be fair, Crackdown was also a very good game, and we’ve got the feeling that Dragon’s Dogma won’t disappoint either.
