Dynasty Warriors NEXT Release Date Announced

Tecmo Koei Europe has today announced that Dynasty Warriors NEXT will be released for the PlayStation Vita across Europe on Feburary 22nd, 2012.

The latest addition to the Dynasty Warriors series put in the shoes of the greatest generals in ancient China, and gives you the opportunity to become the greatest hero China has ever seen. Built specifically for the PlayStation Vita, the game takes advantage of the handheld’s touch screen, rear touch pad and motion sensing capabilities to deliver the most satisfying experience during battles. Dynasty Warriors NEXT will also allow you to connect with friends, so you can further enhance your overall gameplay experience.

Features in this latest addition to the long running series include:

  • A complete fusion of button controls with touch control (multi-touch screen and rear touch panel sensor)
  • Touch or shake for the use of the new ‘Speed Musou’ to hit your enemies with more power. Touch the screen to perform ‘Direct Break’ and capture bases instantly. ‘Straight Commands’ allow gamers to touch the map directly with interrupting the Gameplay to direct your subordinates.
  • Impressive visuals help you delve deep into the Warrior’s world. Life-like duels and special missions are all used with touch and sensor controls. Enjoy the tension of battles in epic cinematic action.
  • Use GPS positioning to enjoy complete social interaction. PS Vita’s Live Area, the all new ‘Conquest mode’ and the ad-hoc multiplayer ‘Coallition Mode’ all deliver the ultimate multiplayer experience.
  • Edit Mode also returns where gamers can create and customise their own Warriors.
  • More than 65 Characters to choose from.
