E3 2012: Internet Explorer Confirmed For Xbox 360

Microsoft have announced during their E3 press conference that Internet Explorer will indeed be coming to the Xbox 360.

The internet browser will be launched on the Xbox 360 in Autumn.

Xbox Live boss Marc Whitten was shown demonstrating the browser live at the press conference and showed its Kinect support for full voice command control, and is compatible with the new Xbox Smartglass suite, which means that players can use the  browser with a touch screen device such as a smartphone or tablet.

Players can also  pinch-to-zoom and easy page scrolling using a touch screen device by demonstrating it with a favourite list in order to get quick access to your favourite websites.
