E3 2012: Luigis Mansion 2: Dark Moon Screenshots

by

Nintendo have decided that it’s been to long since Luigi ditched Mario to become a Ghost Buster. Fans of the Game Cube Classic, Luigis Mansion, will be glad to hear that Luigis Mansion 2: Dark Moon, is coming to the Nintendo 3DS just in time for Christmas.

In an attempt to buff the original and refresh the idea, Luigis Mansion 2 will see Luigi exploring more than one mansion with the trusty Poltergust 5000 (a glorified ghost inhaling vacume cleaner)  at his side, ready to deal with the spooky inhabitants he will face.

Along with a host of new ghosts that need dispatching, Luigis Mansion 2 requires every intreped explorer to think hard about how to deal with each and every puzzle that comes their way. It would appear that Professor E. Gadd has assigned Luigi some tough and unique tasks within each mansion ranging from finding lost keys to figuring out the specific ways to deafeat certain ghosts.

Wise to Luigis previous light shining antics that caused ghosts to be stunned, a new strobe light function will need to be activated before any Poltergust 5000 action can take place.

Check out the Screenshots below, will Luigis Mansion 2: Dark Moon be going on your Christmas wish list? We’d love to hear your thoughts!

You know you're a gamer when you live for the smell of a feshly opened game, mmmmmmm yes! I fell in love with games the day I was given a NES which came with Teenage Mutant Nunja Turtles and Mario Bros. Since then my tastes have developed and I'll happily play most genres, but I can tell you that scary games are a no go! I also try to avoid realistic racing titles. It's Mario Kart for the win!
