E3 2012: Splinter Cell: Blacklist Dev Diary Released

After yesterday’s announcement of a new addition to the Splinter Cell franchise, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Ubisoft have released their first developer diary for the game.

A gameplay demo and a cgi trailer were shown at Microsoft’s and Ubisoft’s presentations yesterday respectively. Although it was originally shown in Microsoft’s show, it has been confirmed the game will launch on the PS3 too.

The game is set in the middle east and has Sam Fisher hunting down people on a blacklist, a file that contains classified intel on high profile targets and assets of the U.S. The game takes place six months after Conviction and will also be the first Splinter Cell game on PS3 since Splinter Cell: Double Agent.

Check out the Developer Diary below.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist will be released on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC Spring 2013.
