Nintendo have announced Wii Fit U which is an expansion on the currently available, Wii Fit and will be available for the upcoming Wii U.
The new fitness platform uses the balance board as before but will also make use of the Wii U GamePad as part of the exercises that will be on offer.
Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime has promised that Wii Fit U will deliver new events, new exercise routines, a new fit metre using the Wii U Gamepad and off-TV play.
