E3 2014: Dragon Ball Xenoverse Announced

Bandai Namco have officially announced Dragon Ball Xenoverse.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse will be coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It is being developed by the famed Japanese studio Dimps, the team behind Dragon Ball Z: Budokai games.

It is the first time the Dragon Ball series will be on the next-gen consoles, which will bring all the frenzied battles between Goku and his fiercest enemies, such as Vegeta, Frieza, Cell and much more, with new gameplay design. More features will be announced over the coming months, which include a new world set up and a mysterious city. Herve Hoerdt, Vice President of IP Strategy, Marketing & PR at BANDAI NAMCO Games Europe stated:

DRAGON BALL franchise is one of the biggest series ever created and is a reference for generations of manga and anime fans since 30 years now. Bringing DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE to New-Gen platforms and having a studio as experienced as Dimps is key for a massive hit in order to top all DRAGON BALL fans’ expectations!
