EGX 2016 Going to Get Huge Cosplay Feature

by

EGX and the European Cosplay Gathering (ECG) have today announced that the ECG UK Preliminaries will return to EGX this year.

It was first brought to EGX last year to a massive success, with the audience witnessing some of the most creative cosplay ever seen at EGX with the eventual winner collecting an all-expenses paid trip to the ECG finals.

These Preliminaries will take place on Sunday 25th September and are open to all UK passport-holders and permanent residents aged 17 and over. The competition welcomes all styles of cosplay including gaming and anime. The best-placed individual and winning group will go on to represent the UK at the ECG finals during Japan Expo in Paris in the summer of 2017. You can register to take part here.

Also, on the Saturday 24th September, the EGX Cosplay Championships will be hosted. A panel of expert judges will pick the winning entrants who will collect some fantastic prizes, the details of which will be announced closer to the time.
