Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Voice Cast Announced


Bethesda have revealed the voice cast for the highly anticipated RPG, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

The cast include Max Von Sydow, Joan Allen, and Christopher Plummer. All three of the actors have been nominated for numerous Academy Awards between them. Max Von Sydow, who was nominated for an Academy award for his role in Pelle the Conqueror, has also starred in films such as Flash Gordon, Minority Report and Shutter Island, will voice Esbern who has already been heard in the original trailer for the game.

Joan Allen will voice Delphine, one of the last remaining members of The Blades. Allen has been nominated for numerous Academy Awards for her roles in films such as Nixon and The Crucible and  is also known for her roles in The Contender and the Bourne Ultimatum.

Christopher Plummer will voice Arngeir, a powerful Greybeard elder part of an order of philosopher monks. Plummer was nominated for an Academy Award for his role in The Last Station and is also known for his roles in The Insider and the upcoming American remake of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

Bethesda also revealed some of the other members of the 70 strong cast for the game; Lynda Carter (Wonder Woman), Michael Hogan (Battlestar Galactica), Vladimir Kulich (The 13th Warrior), Claudia Christian (Babylon 5), Diane Louise Salinger (Carnivale), Renee Victor (Weeds) and George Coe (Transformers: Dark of the Moon).

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is set to be released for PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox360 on 11th November 2011
