It is a unique approach to gameplay that is pioneered by Warren Spector in which players will dyamically tackle challenges in order to explore all possibilities and storylines but their actions have consequences.

The game stays true to Disney’s rich musical heritage as the game itself is described as a ‘musical’. Throughout the game, the characters will advance through the plot through expressing themselves in song all with original music and lyrics. Players will hear tunes and instrumentation that will change based on their personal choices which will allow players to ‘conduct’ their own unique soundtrack.  Emmy award-winning composer James Dooley and noted lyricist Mike Himelstein have been drafted in to create the musical gameplay elements.
