The UK’s biggest video games event has been confirmed to be moving from Brompton Hall up to the largest venue in West London, Earls Court One.
The main reason for the move is that the Eurogamer Expo will now be able to accomodate more games and thousands of extra gamers vying to play the newest and upcoming blockbusters before anyone else. The move will finally do justice to the superb titles on show because of the floor space being double of what it was in the previous venue.
Last year’s Eurogamer Expo drew in an impressive 200,000 customers over the 3 day event. Into its fourth year, the 2011 Expo promises to be the biggest and best yet, and is sure to draw in even more customers than last year.
Rupert Loman, the Managing Director of Eurogamer, had this to say about the venue change:
“We’re delighted at the prospect of moving on to a larger venue. The Eurogamer Expo has grown year-on-year, and this new venue sets yet another benchmark for what The Eurogamer Expo can achieve. We’ve always been dedicated to giving gamers the best possible experience, and this move will ensure that”
Here at NGB, we are very excited about the Eurogamer Expo this year. If you’re going, be sure to let us know.
