Following Final Fantasy XIII-2‘s release today in North America, Square Enix has released a launch trailer for the game and revealed their planc regarding DLC.
Final Fantasy XIII-2 has been created with the primary aim to surpass the quality of its predecessor in every way. The game features new gameplay systems, cutting-edge visuals and audio. You will have the freedom to choose from a vast range of possibilities and paths, whilst your choices will effect the immediate environment, shape time and space.
The extensive planned DLC content planned for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 includes the upcoming Coliseum Battles. This will see you play against friends and foes from previous Final Fantasy games which once defeated, can be recruited into your party.
The Coliseum battle which is titled ‘Lightning & Amodar’ will be available via Xbox LIVE on Feburary 7th and the PlayStation Network on February 8th. You will also get the chance to explore the game’s secrets through story episodes for some of the main characters such as Lightning. Full details regarding each piece of content will be revealed at a later date.
