Square Enix has today released the latest gameplay series video for Final Fantasy XIII-2, titled ‘Master of Monsters’.
In a first for the series, Final Fantasy XIII-2 gives you the ability to capture monsters for use in future battles. Each monster has a specific role to play in combat, and there are over 150 to collect, each with their own special attack. Just like main members of your party, each unique Monster you collect can be developed and leveled up too.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 is set to be released in North America on January 31st 2012 and in Europe on February 3rd 2012. The game will be available on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
