Square Enix have released a new trailer for the upcoming patch in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.
The new patch, which is titled Defenders of Eorzea and is set to be released on July 8th. A plot outline is as follows:
Across the realm, voices cry out for a defender some brave soul who would guard the realm from peril. Who will answer the call to stand before the Lord of Levin, to brave the dangers of the Crystal Tower to unearth lost Allagan secrets, and to delve into treacherous dungeons for spoils and glory? Stand fast against the unprecedented dangers that face Eorzea. Take up arms for your Grand Company in a battle for contested territory. Accompany Hildibrand agent of enquiry, inspector extraordinaire on his latest case. Take up the Hunt and track Eorzea’s most dangerous game to reap handsome rewards. Only through courage and sheer strength of will can you rise to be the defender of Eorzea!
