Square Enix have announced a new collaboration which will see Noctis’ weapon in Final Fantasy XV, the Engine Blade, come to NieR: Automata when it is released next year.
The weapon will be included to be used by protagonist 2B. Equipping the Engine Blade will also alter the evasion effects and damage display to match the style of Final Fantasy XV.
There are also plans to feature content from the NieR series in Final Fantasy XV, with more details coming at a later date.
