Joymax have today announced the launch of their first summer update for their popular online massive multiplayer title, Digimon Masters.
A uniserse where the real world and Digital world come close than anyone could have imagined is about to change in ways never expected. Digimon Masters continues the story and also heightened the sense of urgecy which is found in the Digimon anim. With the update bringing five new Digimon and new events for returning and new players, Players should now immediately get involved by dashing to the Joymax Portal by clicking here.
The new Digimon has arrived in order to strengthen the DATS team. New Mercenaries will also be joining the ranks which include Ropemon, Starmon and Warmmon. There are also two new burst mode digimons which TyrantKabuterimon and AncientTroiamon which are available to lucky tamers who own Tentomon and Palmon. With the rare drops of Dracomon Blue and Dracomon Green, there is never a better time to create a killer team. Players can also train their new team with 100% EXP during weekdays and 200% EXP boost during the weekends from now up until June 19th.
The update also brings a variety of new events for active characters. Players will have the oppurtunity to catch a new Digimon and will be rewarded with a gift pack which include Star Fragments and Evoluters. Daily Quests are also available in which players can perform favors for DATS NPCs in order to gain rewards. Players can collect pieces of rope, star fragments and leaves to exchange it for lucrative rewards which include Mercenary Eggs for Tentamon, Gabumon, Salamon and more.
Digimon Masters is the first ever 3D online game which is based on the Digimon universe with more than 1,000 characters from the popular series through seasons 1-5. The game stays faithful to the art design and also follows the original story that please both loyal fans of the series and the average gamer. The game combines pet training simulation with RPG elements in order to produce a one of a kind gaming experience. The game features real-time combat which will thrill all gamers with the challenges that are set which requi are quick thinking and good reflexes. Players can also become one of 8 Royal Knights. These are Digimon that are in charge of each area of the Digital world. Leaders of a guild that defeat one of these areas will be allowed to become a Royal Knight and have the right to impose taxes and other perks and obligations.
