FirstPlay, a interactive magazine bought to you by Future Publishing (the guys that are part of the Official Playstation Magazine) is set to launch next week on Thursday April 8th. The interactive service which will be updated weekly will give PS3 owners content such as HD video previews and Reviews, interviews and a whole lot more. The service will have 2 payment options, 99p per episode or £8.99 for a three-month subscription. The UK is the first country in the PAL region to get its hands on FirstPlay but other PAL territories will get the service later on in 2010.
Square Enix has joined up with Future Publishing for the 1st episode which will see gamers get the chance to link to the Final Fantasy XIII website through a video and also get a chance to claim an exclusive in-game item for Just Cause 2 which has recently been released.
