GAME and Gamestation will be exclusively selling the collector’s edition of Star Wars: The Old Republic.
Although other retailers were also noted, MCV have reported that this is not the case. GAME and Gamestation will be the only retailers to get this epic collector’s edition.
GAME’s head of UK communications Neil Ashurst had this to say:
“Star Wars is one of the biggest entertainment franchises ever, and with so much buzz around the release of The Old Republic, we know the Star Wars community will be wanting to get their hands on the game as soon as it’s out of beta this month. It’s great to see so much enthusiasm and anticipation around Old Republic and we’re happy to be able to offer GAME and Gamestation’s Star Wars fans this special edition.”
The collector’s edition will be released on December 20th and will contain the following:
- Exclusive Gentle Giant Darth Malgus statue
- Star Wars: The Old Republic game disks in collectible metal case
- The Journal of Master Gnost-Dural annotated by Satele Shan
- Old Republic galaxy map
- Custom Security Authentication Key
- Exclusive Music of Star Wars: The Old Republic CD
- High-quality Collector’s Edition box
