Xbox One
Shadow Warrior and Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India are up for grabs on Xbox One next month. Shadow Warrior is an over the top arcade-like FPS in a similar vein to Duke Nukem and DOOM, packed to the rafters with monsters, blood and many weapons. Assassin’s Creed Chronicles is a more sedate affair that focuses on a classic 2D platform gameplay opposed to its open-world adventure bigger brother (or sister, I’m not an animal!).
Xbox 360
Split/Second and Crazy Taxi are up for grabs on Xbox 360 (and Xbox One via backwards compatibility). If you’ve yet to experience Crazy Taxi you owe it to yourself to give this a go. It’s a ridiculous arcade racing game whereby you need to pick up passengers and take them to their destination, all whilst being timed. It’s a taxi sim, but a great one at that. Split/Second is a somewhat overlooked gem from the yestergen and, as with Crazy Taxi, if you haven’t played it you need to. Its Burnout meets Death Race and quite frankly it’s great!
