EA showed off some massive titles at their Gamescom 2011 earlier today, but the biggest and most anticipated of all has to be Battlefield 3, which is being developed by the good folks at DICE.
During the conference, two members of the development team made their way onto the stage to show us all some fantastic co-op gameplay from the PlayStation 3 version of the game. It appears as if the co-op mode will not be connected to the campaign, but will have exactly the same gameplay features as the rest of the Battlefield 3. That’s sure to be music to the ears of gamers that are looking forward to get stuck into the co-op side of things with a buddy.

As if that wasn’t enough, EA also released a quite amazing multiplayer trailer set on a massive map known as Caspian Border. The trailer focuses heavily on vehicle based gameplay, including tanks, helicopters and jet fighters. It’s a trailer you just have to watch, so hit that play button and enjoy!
