Ghost Recon: Future Soldier – Inside Recon Video

Ubisoft has released a new video series called ‘Inside Recon’ for the upcoming tactical shooter, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier and in the first instalment, they talk about the cover and animation system in the game.

In the video below, Ubisoft talk about how the cover system and the animations play a huge part in the environments in Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. The game features over 2500 animations on the main character alone, is focused on making the characters move like real operators and also talk about why the games mo-cap was shot with real Navy Seal operatives. Also talked about in the video is how Augmented Reality plays a part with how the cover system works within the game and allowing you to find and move to it quickly and effectively. Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is released on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo DS in North America on May 22nd and in Europe on May 24th. The PC version has no official release date at present.
