A listing for God of War 4 has appeared on an animators Linkedin page fuelling speculation that the title is indeed in development.
David Thornfield, an animator for mo-cap studio, House of Moves has listed God of War 4 on his Linkedin profile page. The listing which has since been removed, states that he is working on the so-far unannounced title from Sony Santa Monica and that the timeframe that he has been working on the title (along with the next Medal of Honor and WWE 13) is since November 2011 to the present day. A picture of the listing can be found below.
As mentioned above, the listing has since been removed but it doesn’t take away from the fact that it was listed in the first place. We shall see in the coming months.
