Most fans of God of War III have been crying out for some DLC to be released but it seems this could be a major problem for director, Stig Asmussen due to the fact that the game is so “zipped up so tight”. He revealed in an interview with D’toid his worries for DLC content coming to God of War III.
“Maybe we could do the epilogue that I’m talking about,” he said. “The full epilogue, just something fun to do. There’s skins and there’s challenges, we could do those things.
“The problem with this game is that it’s so tight, it’s zipped up so tight, and it’s designed to work one way. We couldn’t just put in new AI characters or something like that without breaking the whole thing.” Stated Asmussen.
It would be great to have some sort of story-based DLC for the game due to the fact that once the game has been completed, there isnt a huge amount of replay value left really but we will have to wait and see what happens. Fingers crossed Asmussen and his team @ Sony Santa Monica can find a way around this problem.
More as we get it of course.
