Sony have announced that a demo for their upcoming driving simulator, Gran Turismo 6 will be released next week, July 2nd.
The demo will be free for all PlayStation 3 owners and doesn’t require ownership of any Gran Turismo product. Also, if players are part of one of the GT Academy regions, you will have the chance to win a real race with Nissan.
It has been structured as a GT Academy-style driver training concept where you progressively learn the skills required to push so you can learn the ropes and take full advantage of the cars speed and mobility round the tracks. The demo includes the track Siverstone.
Once you have cleared Silverstone, you will be able to post your time on the leaderboards to see if you have what it takes to go o the next round. If you are not in one of the GT Academy countries, you will still be able to unlock special bonus content. Players have until July 28th to try their luck of winning a race with Nissan whilst the demo will be live until August 31st.
