The guys over at NowGamer have spotted something rather intriguing from the website of the official US ratings body, ESRB, regarding Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.
ESRB, who control all of the ratings for video games in North America, have both titles listed on their website, which would suggest both classics are heading to PlayStation 3. Grand Theft Auto III has recently celebrated its 10 year anniversary, and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City celebrates its 10 year anniversary in November this year.
GTA: San Andreas isn’t included on the ESRB website, this is probably because the next title to be released in the series, GTA V is set in a few of the same locations as Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas was, and maybe it doesn’t want to steal its thunder!
Check out the image from the ESRB website below.
It doesn’t state on the website if the release is PSN or disc-based, but by the looks of it, both titles are set to hit the PlayStation 3 soon.
