It’s only been a week since the announcement of the trailer, but the anticipation for Grand Theft Auto V‘s first trailer had already reached fever pitch when it was released at 4pm GMT – here it is:

The video features one and a half minutes of in engine footage, as well as a fair few hints about GTA V, which is set at least partially in a Los Angeles mock city, perhaps taking us back to the San Andreas region.
The trailer is narrated presumably by the new main character, who alludes to being a father, a new direction for the franchise.
The wait for the announcement of Grand Theft Auto V is well and truly over – and now the wait for Grand Theft Auto V to release has begun in ernest, though we still have no release date. Who’s excited?
