According to reports and tweets from a couple of people close to the project, it seems like Microsoft will today announce that Halo 4 is set to be released on November 6th.
Yesterday, Xbox LIVE’s Major Nelson tweeted: “Look for #Halo4 news on the way in the next 24 hours. Hint: @TeamCoco plays a part!”
That was preceded by senior producer at 343 Industries Alison Stroll tweeting: “A little birdy (or was it Andy?) told us @TeamCoco will have some big Halo 4 news tomorrow. Stay tuned! #incoming #wakeupjon”
For those of you who don’t know who or what “@TeamCoco” is, it’s the Twitter account of the team behind the Conan O’Brien show in the US. That suggests the show or the host himself has something to do with the pending announcement.
To add to that, The Verge claim their reliable sources have told them that the announcement is due to be made at 5pm (UK time) today. If true, we’ll be sure to bring you the news as soon as it hits our inbox.
In the meantime, let us know what you think regarding the release date via the comments section below. November is usually is Call of Duty month, would that be a good move from Microsoft?
