Microsoft have announced that Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary will join the list of titles to get a stereoscopic 3D mode.
New Halo studio, 343 Industries, recently showed off the rebuilt Guilty Spark level in 3D and, going by the feedback, it went down really well.
“If you’ve got the technology you definitely want to take advantage of it. Guilty Spark is a fun level to show 3D because you’re in the jungle, you’ve got foliage going by, plasma bolts flying over your head… it’s a fun way to increase the immersion of the game and again if you’ve got the technology, you definitely want to take advantage of it.” said Dennis Reis of 343 Industries
Halo is joining the small, but ever evolving list of Xbox 360 games to offer a 3D mode.
